Contour & Co Cast Iron Handle Covers are made of vegetable tan leather to protect your hands while cooking. Our cast iron handle cover is meant for stovetop use only. Starting out as a beautiful light tan leather, each leather cast iron handle cover will develop its own unique patina over time. The natural absorption of oils and light will cause your handle cover to develop a stunning range of browns through continued use in your kitchen. With use, the initially tight fit on your skillet handle cover will eventually conform to the shape of the handle.

The Contour & Co. Leather Cast Iron Handle comes in two sizes:

Short:
Dimensions: 4 1/4” x 1 3/8”. (This size fits most Lodge and Griswold skillets.) The picture shown above is a Lodge Classic 10.25” Cast Iron Skillet.

Long:
Dimensions: 5 3/8” x 1 1/2”. (This size fits Lodge, Griswold, kitchen aid skillets and can be used on both long and shorter handle skillets.)


Please note* some cast iron skillets such as Staub, Le Creuset, Lagostina, Kitchen Aid and others can have longer handles, so please measure your skillets handle length before ordering and if you need something not shown here or have questions, we’re happy to help you.
